GENERATIONAL GRIT: MEET FOUNDER TROY SMITH
Some media creators pick up a camera because it’s a job. I picked up a camera because it was the only way to stay close to the exhaust notes when I wasn't on the track.
I was born and raised in a racing family. My legacy started back in the 1950s when my grandpa was flat-tracking Triumphs. Growing up, my family owned motorcycle dealerships, my dad spent his life racing, and I spent mine behind the handlebars. Motorsports isn’t a niche we decided to target—it’s our family history.
Since 2019, I’ve been embedding myself trackside across professional motocross, Supercross, various NASCAR racing series, and regional open-wheel events. I know what a paddock smells like, I know the pressure of a gate drop, and I know exactly how to frame an asset to make a sponsor say yes. We bring forty years of family racing heritage into every single frame we shoot.
